The Bricks and Mortar

Well, for those of you who have never actually visited us in person, here it is, our store. We love it here! Our store inhabits an old house that was built in 1846. The locals here tell us that this house has been a sewing notions store, a knitting corner, a clothes shop, and now us, Marmalade. We are bursting with delicious smelling candles, soaps, diffusers and potpourri. We have drawers and drawers of really cool jewelry that is always a little different from the norm. We surround ourselves with incredibly beautiful ceramic pieces, silver servers, trays, and bowls, gorgeous rugs, bedding, and table linens, and that is only the downstairs.

Upstairs we indulge our paper fetishes with all things stationery. Wedding, baby, shower, birthday, announcements, invitations and cards. Beautiful journals, fun agendas, and great gifts for friends (and yourself, of course.)

So, as the weeks go on and we continue to build our website to match the feel one gets from browsing our pad, we hope you'll keep tuning in to our blog where we plan to share all of our most favorite ideas, new products, smells, tips for making your home everything you dream of, we'll also share some of our highlights and ponderings of our days in the store (changing all identities where needed, of course.) Oh, but if you ever get to our neck of the woods, or Hillary becomes the next president and you want to see where her and Bill hang out, make sure to stop by and visit us, we'll treat you to a candle and a cup of tea.
