March's Mom of the Month:
Sabra Staudenmaier
*Marmalade Exclusive Interview with Sabra*
What surprised you most about being a mom?
Everything! Before I was a mom I thought I knew what it would be likebut there's no way to explain it or understand it before you actually
become a mom.
What is the funniest thing your children have said to you?
The little one doesn't talk yet but my 3 year old says funny thingsall the time. His random questions are the best. The other day he
asked me out of the blue ...Mommy, do frogs poop?
What is one thing of your children's that you refuse to throw away
(or that they wont let you!)?
I love art projects involving impressions of my kids hands and feet. I(or that they wont let you!)?
look back and can't believe how small they were.
What is the best and worst parenting advice you ever got?
It's not really advice but ever since I'm able to combine baths ourbedtime routine is much easier on me. As far as bad advice...I once
had a lactation consultant advise me to keep a journal when I was
having trouble breastfeeding. The journal didn't help at all.
If a group of magic fairies were to come into your house at night
what would be on the "to-do" list you would leave for them?
closet and drawer...oh and if they could magically build a sauna in my
basement that would be nice too:)
If you could pick up your house and move it anywhere in the world,
where would it be?
think I live on the best street in the world (or at least in my town)
What is your never-fail-everyone-loves-it dish or dessert to make
for dinner parties?
going around my mother's group. It's great w. apple slices.
What did you collect as a kid? Do you still have it?
If you had an unexpected free day to do whatever you wanted, how
would you spend the day? Who would you spend it with?
