My "go-to" black sweater that just covers my rear end and looks slimming at the same time. I've had that sweater for about 4 years and it's starting to look a little ratty. Need to find a replacement, hope he doesn't read this blog.

My favorite thing in my closet is my dad's sweater that I have saved since he passed away. I have it nicely folded on the closet shelf and when I glance up and see it, it makes me feel good to think of my wonderful dad.

I guess it depends on what closet I'm standing in front of as I have way too much of everything!! But if push came to shove I would have to say my favorite jeans with a particular gap leather belt. They are reliable and honest, they never lie to me and tell me I look skinny when I've dipped into the cookie jar too much. And when I'm not feeling very pretty or fashionable I can always put those two items on and feel ready to face the world.... Wish I had a nice guy to do that!!

I've saved a maternity dress I wore my last pregnancy -- even though I felt like a blimp, I always felt cute when I wore it. And the final result was the best part - my adorable Lily!

My whole family of shoes!!! Cool summer sandals, dressy high heels, winter boots, work out sneakers, clogs, and flip flops. Oh can't forget the slippers. And at least ten of these members, go on vacation with me everytime. Needless to say my check in bag at the airport always weighs 50lbs or more!! But its worth it.

My lush rug. Sounds funny, but when I walk in my closet, the softness of my rug makes my closet even more homey & luxurious!

You should never pick your child's career. You can guide them and give advice knowing what their natural strengths are and your experience is but they should make the ultimate decision for a couple of reasons - 1. they are going to have to do it the rest of their lives and should be happy 2. if they don't like what you picked then it will come back and bite you in the (you know what!)
Also if your child is doing the best they can and are happy in whatever career they choose then you will be happy (or should be!)
