Strawberries are in season, and it's hard to resist picking up a pint or two at the supermarket. But did you know that strawberries are as good for your exterior as they are for your interior? Strawberries are rich in antioxidants and are a natural source of salicylic acid, plus the seeds are great for exfoliation, making them an ideal ingredient for a facial mask.
Give this simple at home face mask a try if you can bear to spare a few scrumptious strawberries. It smells great too!
Strawberry Face Mask
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 egg white
2 tsp honey
To prepare: Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Store in an air tight container in the fridge. Keeps for up to a week.
To use: After cleansing, spread a tablespoon or two of the mask on your face and neck. Leave on for 20 minutes, then gently rinse with cool water.
