Marmalade's We Love Free #3

I honestly don’t think anyone has ever been quoted as saying that “all hand washing liquids are equal”, but if someone ever did utter such a quote, boy, not only did they need to focus on more important things in life, but they definitely have never tried Cucina’s Olive + Coriander Hand Wash for the kitchen. This has been a staple of our store since the day we opened. This is the only hand soap I’ve ever used where your hands don’t feel dry and dehydrated after washing, this is due to the pure olive oil tree extract that Cucina uses in their soaps. This hand wash leaves a lingering scent of fresh-cut aromatic herbs. P.S. They make an awesome lotion as well.

Most favorite cleaning product is hands down Mr. Clean's Magic Sponge. I don't know what's in this thing but it really works.

As far as the messiest thing I've ever had to clean that would be all of the partially digested meals that my kids have thrown up over the years. I don't know what the deal is but when my kids throw up they don't bend down over the toilet, they just stand there making for a 1000 times bigger mess than necessary. This invariable ends up with huge lectures about how they need to chew more.

My yellow rubber gloves. I don't care how much fun anyone makes of me, those rubber gloves and I are a team. Despite what product I'm actually cleaning with those rubber gloves make all the difference as far as elbow grease.

Messiest thing would be the grease I got on my white shirt just before a huge meeting. Somehow every time I tried to remove it it would just spread and then when I tried a liquid remover it then spread to the under layers of my clothes (my bra) which looked even weirder. I won't spell it out here, but it was an odd brownish spot coming through my shirt.....you know what I'm getting at right, and it was not in the place on my chest that that type of dot should be coming from. Not a good day in my book, and people in the office still look at me oddly, I think they're not quite sure what's going on under my shirt.

My miracle cleaning product is Soft Scrub. This stuff is amazing - it can get rid of any stain, grease, spill, practically ANYTHING.

The messiest thing I've ever had to clean would be our last house, when we moved in. The woman we bought it from was...well, I'll just go ahead and say it - she was not clean. At all. I scrubbed that house down to within an inch of it's life before anything was unpacked out of a single box. Gross!

Favorite cleaning product: Dawn dishwashing liquid. Does a great job to cut grease; better than other brands.

Messiest thing I had to clean: cat vomit :( and I don't mean the hairball type.

Good old vinegar and water. I have been using this for years and nothing beats it for getting that grime off of things.

Well, my family is made up of people with very weak stomachs. One day in late Oct (it had been unusually warm that month) we had a real pumpkin sitting in the middle of our breakfast table as a decoration. I was talking with the kids as they ate before school and for some reason I reached over to pick up the pumpkin. Well, it's insides had rotted out unbeknownst to me, an when I picked it up the rotten insides came out. My son started retching and threw up on the breakfast table, which then made me throw up, which then made my daughter throw up. Needless to say, we were a little late for school that day.

My favorite cleaning product is Windex. It's not just for windows anymore!

The messiest thing I've ever had to clean up was our dog Penny's parade of messes through the house. If I say "old dog, incontinence, stubborn", I think you'll get the unpleasant picture!

I love, love, love my microfiber cleaning cloth. Fantastic for dusting, windows, fingerprints, etc.

Messiest clean-up would have to be the grandkid's craft area after a visit. It is a great idea because it keeps them happy and occupied, but there are scraps of paper, tape, markers, scissors, beads, etc. everywhere!

My favorite cleaning product is Method Wood Floor Cleaner. It has almond oil in it so it makes the entire house smell like marzipan. Ummmm. And it's chemical free.

The worst mess I ever had to clean up was when I worked at the candy counter in a movie theatre on Central Avenue in Hartsdale (I was 19 - so we're talking over 30 years ago.) My new boyfriend was coming to see me, and I was so nervous, I started cleaning behind the counter like a maniac. I had placed a whole gallon of melted popcorn butter on the counter - and in my anxiety I knocked down the entire gallon all over the tile floor behind the counter about 15 minutes before the next show was about to start. There were about three of us behind the counter and we skidded and slid around crazily, trying to fill the popcorn buckets, fill drinks and make change. We finally cleaned it up by opening up boxes of popcorn salt and pouring it on the floor to soak up the butter. What a mess.

My favorite cleaning product is Simple Green...no question about it. I actually washed clothes in it one time because supposedly you can. It's manly and can handle just about anything (like me)

I'm just going to get it out there and say poop is the messiest thing I ever had to clean up...and not just any poop, gross baby poop. We were on vacation in Hawaii and my youngest daughter had explosive sh!ts one day. On this particular occaision, the poop shot out of the front and back of her diaper like some sort of fecal fountain. It was horrifying. It got all over the hotel room bed and floor. Luckily for me, I only had to clean the actual child itself, we called in the cleaning ladies to handle the rest. And yes, it's insanely embarassing to call housekeeping at a five star hotel and explain to them that you need them to come to your room and clean up human excrement because you're too grossed out to do it.

I'm going to agree with fellow poster 'Jonathan' and say Simple Green. I can't claim that I've used it for quite the same purposes, nor carry it with me on vacation, but it's kind of a one-stop-shopping product. I have used it to clean my car, my house and other various and sundry things. As an added bonus, it's non-toxic and you can use it as a cocktail mixer.

I'm a sucker (unfortunately) for Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen spray. The grease fighting power on this thing is awesome, and when you live in a Chinese household where there is real Chinese cooking going on, you need all the grease eatin' cleaning power you can get!

It tackles the nasty, caked on grease that gets slathered on the stove, and is equally great a cleaning up kiddie poop. That would be the nastiest I've ever had to clean up!

Anything in the Mrs Meyers family of cleaning products.... my favorite scent is Lemon Verbena.

Worst mess? Flooded laundry room that went unnoticed for a week while we were on vacation during a hot Jersey summer.

My girlfriends just told me about how awesome the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are. As usual, they were right on. I'm not sure how I got through life without them!

The messiest thing to clean up had to be when my son pooped and took the diaper off and decided to decorate the wall in his room. It was 13 years ago and it still haunts me.

I agree with the Magic Sponge! I wish it were bigger and came in towel sizes so you could just go to town.
Messiest thing - cleaning up after my son had the stomach flu and it
'flew' out the attic and basement at the same time. UGH!!

I do love my gloves.I have the drip catchers in purple at home and at my sister's and take them with me if I am going to be helping out in someone's kitchen. However my newest favorite thing is packing tape! I discovered it works even better than a lint brush and i cleaned the black velvet backs of all my picture frames which had been driving me crazy. The worst mess i ever had to clean up was paint my husband knocked off a ladder in the entry hall.It went on the hall stairs (carpeted) luckily water based. It was hours of sponging and rinsing but it came up.
