BOTH! I'm a huge exerciser. I run in the morning, so a morning shower is a necessity and then I go to the gym after work and I can't go to bed without being squeaky clean.
I often don't get enought sleep with two kids, so I need the fresh water to wake me up in the morning. I don't feel officially awake until I've had my shower and coffee! Helps me start my day.
I also find that my slew of facial products to diminish my life lines work better in the shower. So I tell myself.
As the single mom of two teenagers, I need the wakening effects of a morning shower. But the main reason is that it cures bed head. No matter the style, I'm not one to wake up with great looking hair!
precisely 8am, when the baby that woke up at 6 needs a morning nap, and 30 min before the 2 yr old wakes up...the only 30 min I am guaranteed to myself everyday..its wonderful!
MORNING! what else can a mom do....can't drink coffee (it makes my heart race) and there aren't enough hours during the night to make me feel refreshed! This is the ONE thing I can do to kickstart my day. Thank g-d for it:) slcran@verizon.net
Morning! It takes me a full hour to wake up so when I'm in a rush to get to work, a shower really helps make me more alert. Also, I have fine hair that doesn't look good after it's been slept on. I wash it every morning.
Ah ... the age old question. I love to take a bath in the evening to relax before going to bed but always shower in the morning to get a nice, fresh start to the day!
Morning or night -- neither. If I shower in the morning, the kids walk in to ask for bacon or to tell me the dog threw up. If I shower at night, my husband thinks it's foreplay. I usually shower at midday after errands and -- hopefully -- a workout. No one is home, except the dog, so I can condition my hair, etc. And honey, if I shave my legs, THAT's foreplay!

Morning!
I've reached the age where a morning shower is the only way to get the pillow creases out of my face. Kind of sad actually.

Nighttime is my time.
It's my secret way of getting a few moments to myself and my husband is then forced to deal with the kids instead of always defaulting to me. : )

Morning. I can barely get out of bed, so I need a splash of hot water to get my day started.
Definitely a morning shower is preferred. It wakes me up and I certainly don't need anything else to keep me awake at bedtime!

Good luck everyone!

Oop, I left out my email address -- the comment with the dog and the foreplay (no, the dog is not part of the foreplay) is mine. macchettop@aol.com
